About Dr. Sherwani

Kamran Sherwani MD, FACC, is a compassionate cardiologist at Heart Care Center of Northwest Houston providing cardiac services for patients living in the Methodist Willowbrook area of Houston, and North Cypress, Texas. He is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center and Houston Methodist Hospital. 

Dr. Sherwani received his medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical College and has been in practice for 27 years. Following medical school, Dr. Sherwani completed an internship in internal medicine at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. He then completed his residency in internal medicine at the same institution. Dr. Sherwani rounded out his medical training with a cardiology fellowship at the Mid-American Heart Institute at The University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in nuclear cardiology at the same institution.

Dr. Sherwani is board-certified in cardiology and nuclear cardiology. He has special training and interest in diagnostic cardiology, permanent pacemakers, and nuclear medicine.
